ABOUT EARLY BIRDS

Early Birds opened its doors on 3rd March 2003 by Claire Botham. Whilst pregnant with her second child, Claire wanted a nursery that could offer that special home-from-home environment with love and dedication evident throughout the whole nursery.

Early Birds has gone from strength to strength over the years with joint managers Rebecca and Julie completing the management team since 2004.  Members of their team are chosen with the utmost meticulous care, ensuring the excellent reputation of Early Birds is only ever enhanced by the care and skills the team have to give.

It is the dedication and pursuit for excellence that has earned Early Birds a well deserved 'Outstanding' in their Ofsted inspection in August 2018.

Come and see for yourself why the Early Bird really does get the 'worm'!
Following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum enables our fully qualified and experienced team to stimulate and enhance each child’s individual needs and development throughout their time at nursery:

Sports Coaching sessions

Every fortnight we have a visit from Adrian at A-star Sports.  We benefit from inclusive, developmental multi-sports coaching, building on a fun ABC-based foundation (agility, balance and co-ordination). Children are introduced to various sports and can develop their physical skills in a supportive and encouraing environment.  Sessions are held outdoors, weather-permitting, with the help of our fantastic retractable canopy for shelter.

Visits and trips out

We regularly visit the local library and park; and we often visit our friends in the nursing home next door to sing for them from the garden and deliver cards and lovely pieces of our art work!

The businesses of Coppull are used to our visits and enjoy seeing us out and about!
